Michel Nedjar (born 1947), an artist at the crossroads of Art Brut and contemporary art and a founder member of L’Aracine, produces works that invite onlookers on an introspective journey through the themes of childhood and primitivism, life and death, and magic and travel. The exhibition to be held at the LaM will help visitors acquaint themselves with the many facets of his work between 1960 and 2016, including dolls, sculptures, paintings, drawings and experimental cinema.
